Is it too complicated for modern day kids and Modern day college football?

I routinely see teams with half the talent of us play much better defense on a consistent basis these days

Saban’s defense has no place in this era of college football.

All man DOES NOT WORK with the current rules and modern offensive schemes.

Does any defense? Name one time in recent memory that an elite defense shut down an elite offense? I don't think it's possible with the way modern rules protect offenses.

Not at all..if anything it's not complicated enough. If our guys are getting stumped on this level of schemes, defensive calls I don't know what to tell you.

You can’t shut them down.
However, you MUST make them march the field by executing.

Teams know they can use receivers to run Bama DBs out of any play because they always have their backs turned to the QB.

Keep the play in front of you and live gor another play.

I think Bama needs to run much more zone and sprinkle in man in disguised packages.
Even I know Bama’s defensive call prior to every snap.

The 2018 Clemson D was as good as any I have ever seen. They would have struggled in the scenario we were in tonight.

This isn't Saban's defense, nor does Saban call the plays for the defense.

This is Golding's defense. Period. Saban has given his stamp of approval, but Saban seemed pretty critical of Golding's playcalling tonight without calling him out by name.
