Didn't play in the Tenn. game, but could/should be back for the LSU game.

If he comes back for LSU, I don't see him playing more than 15 or so snaps (both from a testing the knee standpoint, and the fact that he hasn't been running in practice which has probably taken a toll on his conditioning).

bama update

Cody!As we learned yesterday, Alabama nose tackle Terrence Cody spent part of Tuesday's practice jogging around the field, which was generally viewed as a good sign. This morning, coach Nick Saban sounded as hopefully as he has about the 365-pounder's sprained MCL in his right knee.
"He's out this week for sure," Saban said. "We hope to have him back maybe next week."

That means the junior college transfer is out against Arkansas State but could very well return for the second-ranked Crimson Tide's trip to Baton Rouge to play LSU.

That's real good news for a defense that is ranked second in the country in stopping the run, but will have to do so against LSU and Charles Scott.

Saban was cautious, saying Cody is, "day to day, making good progress. He was running and jogging this week."
