Yeah, I don’t think either coach tells people to make mistakes. Our coordinators do make some bonehead calls, Briles more than Odom, I think.

Everyone wants to dismiss the fact that the offense gassed the defense in the first half. Have the last couple of plays not made it obvious?

I don't give a flying crap. If our Defense was in the top 25 in all areas, (Hello Secondary) we would be some much fricking better.
Odom is paid as a top 20 dc period. He isn't providing his $$$$ worth period.
If a Qback can pass at all, we are toast add to that our lack of depth elsewhere... and... toast again.
Odom is mediocre as a DC

Not disagreeing with anything you said. We just had our third illegal formation penalty on offense. We are in exactly the same boat with Briles. I just think our defense shows a little better, if they could get more than 2 breaths before our offense has them back on the field. You can’t do that and expect success later in the game.

What’s the excuse for the offense, including the Missouri state game? Our defense has been no worse than our offense. In fact our offense has been worse because their shite play and play calling has kept the defense on the field. What we are seeing right now from the defense is a direct result of the offense in the first half. Can’t you see that?
