LSU '19 - Tua, Hurts, Lawrence (8-1 as starters), Love/Trask/Ehlinger/Mond/Corral all drafted and on rosters. Fromm drafted. Still in college: Jefferson

You left out a bunch of stuff. By coincidence I'm sure.

Tua- Maaaaaybe at 60 percent when he played. Was literally hopping on one leg.

Hurts- C'mon now. Everyone and I mean everyone said many times he was not a good QB. Especially in college

Lawrence-I'll give you that one. Fantastic player.

Love-61 percent passer in college. Led utah st to a meh...25-15 record. OK i guess.

Trask-Led Florida to 8-4 record. Solid the one season he started but not off the charts

Ehlinger-Meh, never a big game guy. Check out he Horns records when he was there. Mistake prone like Tua.

Mond- Seriously dude? This guy was serviceable at best.

Corral- Yea, 2019 Corral led the rebs to a 4-8 record with 6 TD passes.

Yea, they might be on rosters but they are not starters and won't be there long. Jake Fromm never was much.
With the exception of Lawrence, they never faced anybody any better than Fields was in 2020. In fact, Lawrences 2019 season was 3665 yds with a QB rating of 166.7. Fields played only 8 games and had 2200 yds and a QBR of 175.6.
As far as Tua, he was nowhere near healthy for that game.
people can deny it all they want.

LOL, in 5 years you will be writing that Tua was literally playing blindfolded, one-legged, in deep snow.

Revisionist history.

Saban (after) on Tua and his health in the game:

“I think he was 100 percent but missing time, missing some practice, I think he played well, made plays in the game. His mobility was not at 100 percent… maybe he couldn’t run 100 percent, maybe 90 percent…”
