UK is Top 10 and not in the brackets?

We can only assume since he doesn't specify his exact method, but as he mentions scheduling:

[SOS Rank] per TeamRankings

[23] • 6. Tennessee (SEC at large)
[24] • 7. Penn State (Big Ten at large)

[22] • 9. Michigan (Big Ten at large)
[42] • 11. Washington (Pac-12 at large)

I have a hard time believing this is a Top 25 schedule

5 Game summaries
5.1 Colorado State (0-4)
5.2 Hawaii (1-4)
5.3 UConn (1-4)
5.4 Maryland (3-1) - no big wins tho
5.5 at Iowa (3-1) - no big wins tho
5.6 at Indiana (3-1) - no big wins tho
5.7 Penn State (4-0) - beat Auburn but Auburn is dumpster fire this season
5.8 Michigan State (2-2) - no big wins
5.9 at Rutgers (3-1) - no big wins tho
5.10 Nebraska (1-3) - dumpster fire
5.11 Illinois (3-1) - no big wins tho
5.12 at Ohio State (4-0) - Beat a Notre Dame that is not looking good

Most SEC schools would love a schedule with only 2 games in a 12 game season.
