I’m glad Johnson got the whole game week and game against Miami under his belt. That’s the one benefit from that debacle, because A&M definitely needs the W Vs Arkansas more than the W against App St.

I thought Johnson was a pretty good QB at LSU. Seems that JImbo's system is what's flawed. His offense is out of date and he hasn't changed with the times. It's worked for him in the past but it's a different game now. The thing that has helped Saban stay on top is his willingness to change with the times.

We’ll see how it unfolds. The offense looked plenty good enough when Jimbo went 9-1….

Just has to get the OL back into form.

I feel like any post from an LSU fan will come across like sour grapes. Having said that, Johnson was an extreme QB. He could be really great (game winning drive against A&M and the Ole Miss game in 2020) and then he could be just aweful (no-look behind-the-back pass in the middle of the field against UCLA and the entire Bama game last year). He could make some really great throws and then have like 4 passes in a row that one-hopped the receiver. It was always impossible to know what to expect from him most games. I’m not saying we upgraded at the position but I can truly say I wasn’t sad to see him leave either!
