I haven't watched any media outside of auburn circles and in the Auburn circles I haven't heard anyone say anything less then firing is the option. It's not if but when with most saying before the end of the season.

Former Auburn players are on the rampage.

I've never seen a "majority" of fans, former players, associates, turn so quickly from he was dealt a bad hand, to get ride of this guy now.

I have.

Basically the main outsider perspective now is that nothing's changed since Gus was let go, which makes it harder to find a fit here long term if we're firing the guy we replaced him with after not even two full seasons.



Not saying that they're saying he shouldn't be fired, but that it's hard to figure out who could reasonably replace him.


Basically it's about optics about how you treat the guy on his way out, which is why they wouldn't be surprised if he made it to Bloody Sunday (the day after the last regular season game)
