I honestly have no idea what to think about this game, especially since they switched QBs to Johnson.

He's not very athletic when it comes to running or throwing on the run/escapability but he's a much better game manager than King and takes care of the ball much better. He also isn't much of a deep ball threat and that's definitely not how Jimbo's offense works either way. Any other coach I'd be worried about them adapting their scheme to take advantage of our secondary, but Jimbo is notoriously stubborn when it comes to sticking with his outdated style.

Their offense isn't great and neither is their Oline and running game, which matches up well with our strength on defense. Jimbo isn't a creative play caller and his style will play into our strength at LB in the middle of the field and on the Dline, not to mention Johnson is practically a statue back there. I like our chances to get a lot of pressure, TFLs, and sacks.

Their defense is definitely the strength of their team and they've got some stud athletes on that side of the ball. Our offense is the strength of our team (when they execute) and has many different looks/schemes they can throw at the defense, if they can execute they will score plenty.

It'll be a close dogfight like always, I just hope this week wasn't any indication of the true ability of this team and we were caught sleeping instead. Our defense has to limit the big plays and giving up first downs on 3rd, get pressure on Johnson since he cant escape well, and our offense obviously can't afford to turn it over and needs to chew up the clock with long sustaining drives.

We do that, and we win going away. I'm also 100% positive that Jimbo will somehow find it in his heart to suddenly forgive all those suspended players just for this game, so they'll have a lot of individual talent back to work with
