The UL ragin Cajuns also went 13-1.
Yes, and they obliterated Liberty 42-14.

But you were responding to a poster who attended the game where Liberty lost to UL-Monroe. With HC Terry Bowden. Who went 3-8 against the rest of their schedule.

Which overlooks the fact that this proven winner had the #3 QB in the 2022 draft while playing a schedule ranked somewhere in the 90s, and still managed to lose 5 games.

As for building up Ole Miss, you forget that they won 9 games in consecutive seasons two years before he was hired, and he left them in complete disarray when he resigned in disgrace just 4 years later.

But yeah, he’s a real program builder.

OM was on the down slope when he came. The previous coaches only won 29% and 48% of their games. He won 65% of his and was followed by one that only won 42%. That's a big sign of his ability to coach with whats there.

He accomplished multiple feats that hadn't been touched by anyone except the best coach in OM history back in the 50's and 60's. If he hadn't screwed up and beat Saban 2 years in a row then Saban wouldn't have ran to the ncaa and he would still be at OM and owning the west.

OM didn't fall apart because his lack of coaching or development. It's was their garbage coach they hired.

Auburn is in a mess because Gus didn't develop anyone at QB or recruit OLinemen. Now Harsin hasn't improved anything from last year. Good coaches start showing in year 2 even if in the slightest. Auburn is all around worse than last year.
