Those fans are idiots. It's like they totally forgot how Pinkel was successful as a coach.
Programs like Missouri need to give coaches 5 years or not even bother. Either that or actually have a billionaire really open the pocket book to reel in a big fish.
Odom i would've preferred get more years but he also got minus points for kind of fricking up the transistion from Pinkel

This would work in the old Big 8 and 12.
Mizzou needs to do everything they can to be committed to winning, because, the age of the super conference is upon us and guess who will be left behind ? The perception real or not is that MU are takers and don’t add anything to the table.

100%. Missouri under Pinkel was built on developing 3 star players, loyal assistants, and a solid athletic department.
If we kept Odom our trajectory would have been similar to how Mark Stoops grinded Kentucky into what it is, but that takes years and everyone here was getting impatient. He had other issues like assistants leaving him, the protests, and not getting along with the AD, etc.. so his tenure was unfortunately cut short.... Odom will be a head coach again.
