This gets old as well. Watch the play. If its that frigging debatable, what the meaning of "down" is ... how do you throw a flag for two players rushing in to clean up the play ? Come on. They didn't lead with a helmet. They didn't "lead" with anything. They came in and pretty much fell on Young, and not even with their full weight. If THAT'S roughing the passer, then you can't touch the passer.

And its not an if. Watch the video. Young was down, not once, but twice.

The refs botched it. 'Bama benefited from it. There is no need, absolutely none, for all this perverse bullshite to try and justify it. It was an egregious, awful officiating call. Pure and simple.

So you are now trying to argue that hitting a player after they are down on the ground is not a late hit? You are one special type of idiot.

He was not even "hit". Two players ran in, and neither attempted to initiate contact. It was a continuity thing, which happens on every damn play in college football.

You are not a "special type of idiot", however. You're just an argumentative, insecure fan who really feels the need to justify how a complete bullshite call that went in your teams favor was somehow "right". It wasn't right. It was an awful, awful call. These things happen. To pretend that it was anything else is just pure fantasy.
