That's a good pickup. I don't know why 247 has him a 3-star. He should clearly be higher, as reflected in the composite.

Yea the discrepancy in rankings is odd. 247 has him incredibly low and Rivals has him the #10 player in the class and #1 in TX.

It evens out given rivals has him as a national top 10 player

Heard some recruiting guy said something about his wing span and footwork or something?? I know the dawgs were after him for a while, so he must be decent.
