With last night's game against Utah State officially in the books, Saban has surpassed Frank Thomas who coached 15 seasons from 1931-1946 (the '43 season was cancelled due to WWII). Now only Bear Bryant and his 25 seasons stands in the way of Nick Saban becoming our longest reigning head coach. I doubt he makes it to 25 but 16 isn't too shabby in this era of college football.

About 12 years longer than all the haters said he’d be here back in 2007.

NS would have to coach 10 more years to surpass da Bear. I dont see him coaching into his early 80's

Coach still looks great, all we can hope is he starts healthy.
