Message boards are so fascinating. The most ridiculous answers, so flimsy a child could see through them, get parroted as truth, and it almost seems like those who parrot them even sometimes come to believe them. People are so funny.

You're in denial. No, your program isn't on the same level as LSU or even Texas. It is a middling, average program. Expectations are, in fact, much lower there. Accept the truth. It will set you free.
