re: How many times has southern heat and humidity been a major factor

Hottest game I remember attending off the top of my head was 2016 Nicholls State, in which Georgia eeked out a 26-24 victory. It looked like UGA wilted in the heat of our own stadium.

I don’t remember how hot it actually was that day, and it’s possible that I only remember the heat because of how poorly the game went.

ETA: Evidently, it only got up to 92 that day, which isn’t that hot at all as far as early September in Georgia goes. I guess the heat got inflated in my memory because the game itself also annoyed me.
