Daniels has at least proven that he can play at a serviceable level.
Finley couldn't do that with elite talent surrounding him.

To pretend Auburn doesn't have a bad quarterback room is just delusional.
Your two starter candidates are both former 3* who knew they wouldn't see the field anymore at their former schools.

P5 starter with 3 years of experience.
4 star with a lot of potential
4/5 star freshman with a ton of potential.
Auburn
Finley, 3 star, backup at LSU and couldn't hack it.
Calzada, 3 star, backup at A&M and the worst QB A&M has had since they joined the SEC. Probably longer.
Robby Ashford, is probably the only QB you have that offers a glimmer of hope and he can't even beat out Finley or Calzada lol.
All three of LSU's QBs would start over Finley and Calzada.
There's no potential with Calzada and Finley. We already know they suck dick.
