This is what Saban thinks from the AJC. Burton “might have seen a better opportunity because we’re a little bit more wide open and throw the ball more with a good quarterback,” Alabama coach Nick Saban said of Burton last spring.

Remember when they threw the ball to our player and he ran it back and we won the Natty?

…but seriously, I call BS on what Saban said about Burton. All the kid wants to do is help the team any way he can. It’s not about him. It’s about the team.

Of course that’s what he says out of one side of his mouth. What he says non-stop out of the other side of his mouth is that free agency is terrible for the sport, that its way out of control, and that it needs to be regulated with new rules. And then he’ll say something about how his dad would of kicked him out the house if hed ever come home and said hed quit a team.

As long as its allowed though Saban will speak out of both sides of his mouth and take advantage of it. Hes not going to lose an edge by taking a stand on principle.

Have you not been paying attention to him the last 12 years or so? This is Saban in a nutshell right here.
