If what he left over was targets, then he can go frick himself.

How many targets did it take Pickens to get drafted in the 2nd round?

Did you see him play the other night? Wow we really missed out on some fun with him being injured.

Pickens was a special case. He made 2nd round because of his different abilities. Spped, catch radius, height etc.

Alabama does throw the ball more (or at least have the past several years) and concentrate on a tp 2-3 receivers, while we do tend to spread the ball around to more receivers and not throw as much.

All that said, Burton did not help himself by being injured a good deal of the time...and I lean towards the thought that Alabama will lean on the run a bit more this coming season. They don't seem to have the explosive receivers they have had in the past couple of years with Smith and Williams.

We will probably throw a bit more but will still spread the ball around.

I have a hard time faulting Burton because if Alabama does continue to throw a lot to 2-3 receivers Burton could get some eye popping numbers and increase his numbers for the NFL scouts.
