Every college team goes through ebbs and flows of more experienced/talented teams matriculating through followed by less experienced/talented teams and then cycle repeats. It's just the nature of college football. Alabama isn't immune to this. Not sure what is so hard to understand.

The other poster was implying that Saban was taken out of context.

He called me out for not watching the entire interview.

If you or another Bama fan can fill me in on the rest of the interview that I missed, you could further cement if he has a point.

Random fans on the interwebz is irrelevant to my lack of knowledge of what Saban's point was unless they cite his interview.

I agree.
The difference is that Saban doesn't make excuses publicly.
Every word is crafted to the media for the intent of making his team better.
Ex post facto claiming to be rebuilding doesn't seem in line with the Saban/goat of past.
