I've been to a ton of stadiums but I guess the "most overrated", strictly speaking on reality compared to how it's regarded, would be neyland. The setting by the river is great but I'm talking about just teh stadium itself. For decades its main claim to fame has been its size but when you're inside it's not really overwhelming. Maybe it's different if you sit in the upper deck, idk. But being down low when you look around, it doesn't look any bigger than any ohter large SEC stadium, it just so happens to be an enclosed bowl which is what contrinbutes to the attendance figures. If bama/uga/lsu/au/etc were constructed as a bowl opposed to what they are all of their numbers would skyrocket as well.
And the concourses just seem ancient. BEing able to see all the metal support beams everywhere is not visually appealing.

Same with Penn State.
Stadium is huge & set in the rolling hills of PA, which is nice.
White out was crazy.
But the outside of the stadium looks like an erector set.
The inside of the stadium isn't very appealing either.
You can tell where they just slapped sections on to add seats.
