ACC/ESPN Renegotiating
That is pure speculation and a hopeful event. ESPN will not make more money on a new contract. They will lose money. They have them locked in and to ask providers for more money at this time ? It ain't happening. They would have to offset any more money by passing it on to the providers. The ACC is not that big of a draw outside a a handful of schools. Dobbs of CBS said they did an independent study and with the GOR and legal costs it would cost a team $500 million to get out of the ACC as of today....it's not happening guys. No new contract and no escape for the teams. Common sense should tell you that....

The schools that leave together will split the legal fees. Bet you $500 million the schools will not pay $500 million.
