They doing it to get Clempson and Fla State out of their rights penatly if they leave the conf early.
Right now, they can't get out without paying hundreds of millions. Upon renegotiation... Well... Hello SEC.

Not happening dude. Espn already has those teams. Why would they renegotiate to pay more? Lol
