Yes, I would. In terms of academics, they would be a phenomenal addition to the conference, and while their athletics have been **** as of late, that's in large part due to the ridiculous fact that around 30-40% of their UG student body is either foreign or from outside the state (which, given that they're a public university, is ******* ridiculous for the taxpayers of this state, etc.). In terms of attendance, they should have phenomenal numbers for the same reasons as to why the SEC Championship Game does, i.e., location... location... location. (The only issues would be parking, tailgating, and obviously, the current crime rate within the city.) Also, with the amount of corporations within the city, Technology Square, and the metropolitan area, corporate sponsorships should go up, too.

P.S. My personal choices for new members (assuming that we go to twenty): Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, and yes, even Tulane.

Isn't Bama's OOS percentage over 50%?

I’ve seen the academics referenced I connection with GT, Big 10, etc. maybe I’m just stupid (I did go to Bama) but how does conference affiliation affect a school’s academics? Athletics is obvious since you have direct competition but I’m not sure I understand the academics. Ivy League I guess. But how does ASU’s membership in the PAC 12 affect its academic standing? Is Vandy’s membership in the SEC holding it back academically?
