i remember reading the Mark Bradley column when it was published. He interviews only teck people. Of course they never mention the arrogance of teck. Dodd knew he and teck were bigger than the entire SEC. He was going to take them national and leave these stumbling, bumbling cracker schools behind.

When all this secession was being talked about before they left I don't remember the newspaper articles mentioning much about the 140 scholarship rule, which has become important over time.

Dodd has been dead for nearly 35 years and has been out of the GTAA for almost 50. I think his wants are irrelevant at this point.
