I don't think basketball matters one bit in any of this. Basketball is just what happens between bowl season and spring practice, in the big scheme.

Im talking about eyes on tv sets. Adding more football schools from southeast or coastal region does nothing. Kansas, UNC, Duke basketball are national. Having UK, Kansas, UNC, Duke in bball and Bama, AU, UGA, UF, Tenn, LSU, Texas and OU in football would dominate all conferences without a doubt
