The SEC is going to have Alabama, LSU, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida, Auburn... there's just no one left in the country the Big Ten can add to compete with that lineup football wise. Even if the Big Ten added ND, it's still a distant second in football and always will be. I do expect to see Stanford quickly follow the LA schools... probably Washington... maybe Oregon. All 3 are probably writing love letters to the Big Ten as we speak.

No one is dethroning the SEC. We're the King, and I don't ever see it changing.

Not sure what the competition is here really, or what has changed.

There haven't been any national championships added by any conference going back the past like 15 years.

Big10 has some major media darlings though. Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, and now USC will pull really well for them when they’re relevant. Not to mention if they somehow get ND. And besides the point, the BIG just needs to somewhat keep pace with the SEC. They’re blowing every other conference out of the water. I give them props that they also see the big picture vs all the other sister of the poor Conferences.

Impossible to catch? The B1G has already surpassed the SEC. The B1G just blew your doors off as they passed by.
