Do you not understand that people can come together to form things like coops and voluntarily follow a set of rules among them for their own gain(not to be confused with cartels that take advantage of people)?

If you are going to throw around terms like that, maybe you should actually learn what the hell they mean.

Do you think the SEC is a socialist conference because of revenue sharing?

The NCAA is made up of it's member schools, is not a government authority and has absolutely no legal authority. It's a voluntary organization and anyone can leave it at any point, including Texas A&M. Nobody is forced to it, and if the NCAA went away it would be replaced by another organization that is the exact same thing.

At best some schools would separate from others, again just giving you another organization to cry about.
