You should never go into a game expecting.....or hoping to lose. I can't see Tanner doing that. These are 20 year old kids. 8 hours of sleep is enough for 2 days at that age. They don't need a week to recover from the GRUELING game of baseball.

The SEC is tough. he probably just got beat straight up.

It's more specifically for the pitchers. If it's really so easy to bounce back at that age, there wouldn't be so many college pitchers who have already had TJ surgery. You're also always running the risk of someone tearing/pulling something, or taking a ball to the nose.

There's a difference between hoping you'll lose and giving your relief a chance to start and see how far they can get against everyone else when there's nothing at stake when you lose.

You're clearly TouchdownTony and not HomerunTony for a reason.
