Yes, insane. Quite insane.
How about another insane stat?
Texas has only won the whole enchilada 6 times outta 38 tries.
That comes out to a winning percentage of 0.1579%. Insane. Insane, indeed.
Compare that to the USC Trojans 21 appearances in the CWS and winning it 12 times.
That's a winning percentage of winning it all of 0.5714%. Incredible. Incredible, indeed.
So what if the Trojans haven't made it to the CWS since 2001.

Again to point out that with 8 teams one would expect to win 12.5% of the time
