I understand the LSU thing but you played SEC/big OOC home games during the day pre-1992.
1984 Notre Dame - 2:50 PM
1985 Alabama - 2:50 PM
1986 Ole Miss - 2:30 PM
1987 Ohio State - 1:30 PM
1988 Ole Miss - 11:30 AM
1989 Tennessee - 12:00 PM
Was that part of the college football association tv deal saga?
Not sure if someone already answered this but yes, the 87 Ohio State Game (I was there) was on CBS back when Brent Musburger was I think doing football paly by play. the 85 LSU/Bama game, which I still wonder how the hell LSU did not win (it ended in a tie) was I think the last time Keith Jackson and Frank Broyles did a game in Tiger Stadium (I was there for that one).
IF ESPN picked up your games in the 80's, you were on in prime time (86 LSU/Notre Dame game was prime time ESPN, there for that one as well).
