The difference is everyone knew GA was running the ball with Walker. RBs pretty much we’re the offense. Boxes were stacked. Not the same with modern college offense.

Now this is where I think people are being short-sighted. So are you guys saying the teams Alabama played were couldn't load the box because they were expecting Jake Coker to light them up for over 300 yards a passing a game
Teams were loading the boxes for D. Henry, Fournette, D. McFadden, M. Ingram, and others so it doesn't matter whether it's modern football or not if you have a difference maker and they know he is gonna get the ball a majority of the game then their gonna load the box. It's a shame that a lot of people use this argument to take away the accomplishments of great players.
