We both have dogs as mascots and if y’all had anything to celebrate I expect you’d bark too. Your Smokey is sweet but I still remember when he visited Sanford Stadium years ago. His handler was trying to get him to intimidate UGA who was standing nearby. Poor old Smokey was terrified. He was pulling and tugging trying to get away. He finally cowered when he couldn’t run away. It was sad. We actually felt sorry for the poor guy. He was so scared. And all UGA was doing was staring at him.

2 loss team that lost to Fresno state and a 2 loss team you just beat head to head a week earlier. It really isn’t much of a discussion.

Vols would’ve dropped 1 maybe 2 spots if it were done today. And everything I’ve looked at has them at #6 after the SECCG.
It’s widely regarded as the BCS biggest frick up for good reason. The Big 12 probably had no business having either team in the top 4 tbh but Nebraska would’ve gotten in on name alone I think.

Seems like you are forgetting that an average UGA squad beat the vols that season, and then yall lost to a depleted LSU team.
Miami, Oregon, Colorado, Illinois all had a better claim to a playoff bid.
Vols were gunning for 5th against UF and Maryland, and that is quite the discussion.
