He cant do it. You have to have the diploma first. Maybe he could use his bosses A&M diploma instead?

He made up some bullshite excuse, but I expect in a couple weeks or so for him to actually whip one out when he finally finds somebody willing to let him use theirs.
The only reason I would ever bring something like this up is when an a-hole like that starts running academic smack when he didn't even go there.
