I could legit see it going to single elimination.

That would only require 8 games to be played through Sunday instead of potentially 14.

Probably the best solution if they struggle completing games today. The weather Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is supposed to be great. But lots of rain today and tomorrow.

The timing is really bad. We’ve barely had any rain the past 2-3 weeks.

if they only get 1-2 games in today then I agree that they should switch to single elimination.

Coming to say the same thing. Just doesn't make sense at this point. We'll be lucky to get 3 games today. We'd need to get 4 tomorrow including potential DHers.

I think a worse solution would be to change from 9 to 7 inning games.
