Kansas basketball was put on notice by the NCAA with a number of violations not that long ago, but they just kept on as though nothing was wrong and just won a national championship.

I doubt you'll get much argument from people that the NCAA needs to act sooner. My biggest complaint about the NCAA is it seems like the guilty are rarely the ones who get punished, it's those who follow who take the bulk of the punishment.
Show causes have helped a little with that. But overall they need to speed their shite up.

The biggest observance of this whole situation with Saban and Fisher is this. All these schools complaining of cheating. LSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Florida, Georgia and every other SEC school HAS cheated under the table for YEARS. EVERY power 5 school has cheated under the table. Car dealerships, direct money pay to parents, Catholic hospitals, etc. Now that, like it or not because your school is getting passed up, it’s LEGAL to do with NIL and certain schools can do a better job of it with more involved alumni, collectives, sponsorships, you all freak out because it’s not YOUR school. You can whine, complain, do whatever but most of you on here supported the actual involvement of “paying” players before NIL started but now that your school is passed up it’s cheating and needs to be cut. Hypocrisy at its finest.
That's a Great Wall of Whataboutism.

A&M isn’t facing penalties.
There are no rules to break. The NCAA left it up to schools and states to administer. They broke ZERO rules. There’s a better chance Bama gets looked into for tampering with transfers, which is highly likely they have been!
Texas AM will face zero penalties. The court sat! 9-0! You cannot restrict trade PERIOD! If the SEC or NCAA tries to do anything, when there are no guidelines; the SC said it’s illegal to restrict any way. Texans A&M will sue and ABSOLUTELY WIN!
Y’all can complain all you want, but it’s done. This is the world we are in. Not to mention where is the proof that any player receives money? Has anyone posted they did. A&M claims they didn’t. There is only insinuation. Good luck proving, if any of the kids got paid; aren’t providing services. If they are it’s ball game it’s valid, period!

Unless you can prove NIL was used with intent to entice a recruit to a school, there’s nothing the NCAA can do about it. That’s very difficult unless a player signed a contract before being enrolled, wording of contract, etc.
IF (and that’s a big if) the NCAA can prove that, the NCAA still isn’t going to do shite about it.
