I really laugh at all of you people. Time and time again, Saban's perceived whining has gone on to be prophetic. Saban wants what's best for the sport because the man lives and breathes college football. He's a winner so obviously he wants his program to remain the top dog, but that doesn't mean he wants to see power consigned to the same five or six programs. It hurts the sport and people tune out because the same teams are in it every single year it seems.

In the 1990s, when Florida State and Nebraska were the top programs in the sport, it wasn't a given that they'd be top dog at the end of the year. Bobby Bowden, for all his dominance in the late-80s/90s, only had one undefeated season during that run. Tom Osborne shared one of his three titles in that decade with Michigan.
