pretty sure Carolina went 50-6 / 25-5 in the year 2000 ... winning the SEC and setting the SEC record for wins in a season until Vanderbilt won 27 over a decade later.

if anything Gamecock baseball was able to adapt to the 'dead bat' era and still be a championship program.
