If the NCAA tried to sanction a player or a booster then I’d agree with you, but if it’s only sanctioning the school I don’t think it’s a slam dunk at all either way how that would go nor do I think it’s safe to assume the NCAA would back off out of fear of discovery or anything like that.

I could see players suing even if they just sanctioned A&M, on the grounds that the NCAA hurt their future employment prospects. If the NCAA tries to sanction a school for actions done by its boosters while not sanctioning other schools even when their boosters have publicly acknowledged the same actions, there will be litigation, unless the school and the NCAA settle on some penalty. But I don’t see any reason for a school to settle.
