Auburn:
Hired a coach no one has heard of.
Didn’t want to pay the buyout for the rando they hired.
Aired dirty laundry and/or made something up to fire with cause.
Now have gone back on that and decided to stay with rando coach.

They shouldn’t have given some random high school coach a fat contract with a buyout.

Rando no-name-arse dude won't last much longer.
This smells like when Leslie Miles was retained then fired 8 months later.

Aubrens has always been wild with a freakedly sky-high buyout. I don’t know whose idea it is but they may have learned a lesson. That might be one good thing to come from this. It is Auburn setting the buyout, not the coach’s agent. Weird!

What was O’s buyout? $16.8 million? That’s a lot of crawfish and sweet potatoes.

AU candidates are going to demand high ones. They almost fire every coach not to keep him. It really is crazy.
