It seems ya'll think you know something, when in fact you dont know a damn thing. But you walk around blowing a horn making sure everyone hears your worthless opinions.
None of you know if any of that is true. If AG put himself between Leath and Pearl, what he has or hasn't done, if he's been frozen out of decision making. Ya'll dont know a damn thing about any of that, or if any of it is even true. Yet you make these statements like you do. You likely heard it somewhere else and you're just parroting it because it fits the narrative that you like.
What is true is the following happened under Greenes time:
Pearl survives Person scandal
Gus Beats #1 Georgia and #1 Alabama in a row
Extend Gus
Fired Gus
Hired Harsin
BOF Approved
FOF Approved
Pearl Extension
If ya'll didnt speculate on all this other bullshite, and you saw this list of things that happened during an AD's time, you would have said they are wildly successful.
Your list of supposed accomplishments makes Greene out to be one of the best AD's in the country.
Why is it then that he's interviewed for like ~5 other AD jobs now and hasn't landed a single one of them? Better yet, why is he interviewing for jobs in the first place (let me guess, to get away from the Auburn BOT

I was on your same side, dummies. You can check my posts; I was on here celebrating Greene "winning" over the evil PTB and hiring Harsin. I was wrong. Greene has been non-existent and Harsin was a very bad hire. Alan clearly did very little work vetting him and just saw his record, because the stuff at Auburn is a continuation of everything Boise people were saying about him. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Steele would have probably had us in a better position right now (he would have hired a better staff which with his continuation would have won more than 6 games, and he would have recruiting doing way better).
Auburn is essentially weary of the blowback of firing a young, seemingly competent black AD. They're waiting for him to either land a job elsewhere, or for his contract to expire. The fact that some of you are seriously sitting in front of a keyboard and claiming that a lame-duck AD who's been out of the loop for like 6+ months now was allowed to negotiate the Pearl extension (one of the most important contract negotiations at Auburn in a long time) is comical.

You'll probably get your wish. If the boosters behind this get their way, theres no bigger Yes Man than Kevin Steele.

*Auburn University’s chief operating officer, Lt. General Ronald Burgess, has temporarily moved into the football complex building while doing an assessment of the athletic department operations for President Jay Gogue. Burgess was the point man in pushing forward the new football complex project from the planning stage to the construction stage where it is a year away from its scheduled completion date. He has a reputation as a no-nonsense administrator who gets things done.
General Burgess smoothed things over when coaches were pissed at Greene.
He is helping with the investigation.
He is Gogue’s fix it man. ADAG might work from home still I don’t know. I doubt he will be missed.
