At this point the situation is completely fricked regardless of whether or not anything actually happened. If all of it is true, hes gone and you're back to square one, if all of it is BS, the relationship between the coach and the boosters and the school is fricked because they hung him out to dry and it'll just be a lame duck situation.

Oof, been there done that Aubies, bad place to be as a fan. Especially in football which typically takes longer to correct course than basketball. Yall are staring down another 3-4 years of rebuilding, best case.

Wasn't there a story that napier wouldn't take the job because auburn wouldn't let him hire his own staff?

Didn't harsin basically hire his own staff?
