I am not going to argue with you over the lack of OL recruiting from Gus. I don't jump on individual bandwagon's like you. I am not team Nix or team Gus. I am 100% for AU. I gave Gus the benefit of doubt up till the 2020ish season. Too long. I will give Harsin a chance too (but not as long). There is a list of backups and plans to take Jucos. Meta is just repeating what is floating around all AU back channels for our recruiting plan rn. My original point in this convo is Gus failed to do that at key positions. OL and QB being the main one. Harsin has built a deep QB room to date. I see options on the board at OL. It is enough for me to wait on the season and see how it progresses. I will let it play out and reevaluate at seasons end.

It’s funny you say this because I was reading your responses before this and my exact thought was the complete opposite.
You’re falling into the trap most people do after we fire a coach of blame everything on the last coach and refuse to objectively evaluate the new one.
There is nothing about recruiting at this point where you can definitively say Harsin > Gus.

I’m not even team Gus. But when you say stuff that isn’t true (he didn’t recruit backup plans) that doesn’t make Gus more shitty of a coach.

He’s really not. The pool of talent gets more shallow as players come off the board. How many HS signees do you figure we sign this year?
