Well, obviously they need to close. We gave Gus a decade and he refused to do it. My hope is we don't give Harsin that long if they won't adjust. If Harsin can't trouble shoot the OL by December, then we go all in on Rhule. Again, I am not disagreeing with you. I see a list of 3* OLmen that are backups. So I am pausing my criticism.

I have no clue what you’re talking about. Gus had a problem with OL recruiting thus his usual “pretty good” recruiting classes were skewed to showing better classes than what we actually holistically received. But he never stopped recruiting because he missed on original prospects. Like Meta said, the only difference between Gus and Harsin right now is Gus never had this number of commitments at this time of the year, and Lord knows he had his many run-ins against the PTB as well. The fact that you try to shite on Gus bringing in backup plans, when 1) Gus is irrelevant right now. 2) Gus’s recruiting is partly irrelevant now after the mass exodus of players that we have experienced since Gus was fired 3) he actually brought in quality backup plan recruits. Recruits that went on to help Auburn and land in the NFL.

I don’t get you AUCE. How are you always arse backwards? You don’t want mistakes by QBs you say give me Calzada over Nix. You accuse Gus of not taking backup plans while Harsin literally had no backups to call this January. What’s your deal?

If they don't close it doesn't matter. Am I supposed to be happy with a college coach simply identifying kids who can play college football and it go no further?

Anything short of 8 wins and a top 20 (still not good enough) receuiting class gets Harsin canned.
