It’s an energy and investment issue. There are plenty of basketball fans in GA. Give them a product.

Hawks gave a good product last season. Empty stands this season. Unless the Heat or Bulls etc are in town, then their transplants show up and outnumber the Hawks fans.

Hawks games weren't a hot ticket in Atlanta even when the Hawks made the playoffs 10 straight years, maybe for the playoff games and games against Kobe/Lebron but not for most of the games. I went to a Grizz/Hawks game when both teams were solidly playoff teams several years back...paid about 20 bucks for great seats at mid-court in the lower level and the arena might have been half full
