you cut off the part about Notre Dame requiring that immediately and not just by the player's junior season like the NCAA requires. You also left out the part about players being required to carry a full load in the fall semester unlike other schools. Notre Dame didn't have a 3.4 team GPA average last year with 86 players having a 3.0 or higher by happenstance. Only on this website in efforts to troll senseless minutia would people actually argue that Notre Dame's academic standards for athletes aren't higher than most places. It's honestly hilarious this is actually being argued.

And the constant strawman arguments in response are just special
