This is potentially game changing for Arkansas because no other states, except Texas can offer the same kind of access to such prominent fortune 500 CEOs and owners

Florida has 18 fortune 500 HQ's and Georgia has 17

Arkansas has a grand total of 4

We get that you are very upset, for whatever reason, that Arkansas is doing this, but maybe you need to take a time out. I'm starting to get worried you are going to stroke out on this one.

As to the University's relationship with our Fortune 500 companies... Most of them are within spitting distance of the actual campus and the other has maintained close ties to the U of A for decades. 4 Fortune 500 companies with close ties to a school trumps 25 who might be in the same state but have comparatively little to do with that school.

Yes, I know... we have more Fortune 500!

But Arkansas has an unusually close relationship with the major companies in state. It is why, despite being in a low population state with some severely economically depressed areas, the University of Arkansas has never lacked for funds when it comes to upgrades and new building on campus.

Florida has Miami, FSU, UCF, Florida, South Fl, FAU, FIU

Georgia has GT, Georgia, Ga State, Ga Southern and Mercer

Arkansas has Arkansas and Arkansas State

All 4 of the F500 companies have UA grads as CEO's Presidents whatever.

All the NIL money from these 4 big boys will head to Fayetteville.
