From an agnostic standpoint, its actually better than the typical NIL deal.

Charities get awareness and service, players help with causes they believe in and get exposed to philanthropy and its impact.

There's more value to the community and the student-athlete than doing a radio commercial for a car-dealership.

If anybody is mad, its because Northwest Arkansas is a hotbed of philanthropy dollars and skimming a little smidge off the top for NIL payments is minor.

Honestly I expect other programs to adopt something similar to this. Some of the very well to do might not be super keen on donating to an athletic department... but a high profile charity deal? Suddenly some check books might get opened.

And it does provide more value to the community than, say, a used car dealership commercial.
