Secondly, I don't get the non-love for Mason, he kept us competitive in most games, just couldn't keep the D on the field forever.

Mason had awful games to watch and I loathed his charmin soft pass coverages or 3 man rush, but the stats sheet pretty much always showed a decent game.

If he had a bad first half then he tightened up 2nd half. Or vice versa.

So yeah, Mason wasn’t a world beater, but he was pretty good. If you can’t replace that then that’s another net loss.

JGT said last night that he thought this could be a ploy to get more money from Auburn. He’s hearing now that Mason is strongly considering leaving.

Now on a serious note

He reported yesterday Dunbar turned down Auburn’s offer and counter offer. I believe he even said Auburn did what they could but Dunbar didn’t want it

And last night Marcello said Mason and Harsin had a difference in staffing opinions.

So is Dunbar disappointment connected to Mason suddenly wanting to leave?
