Dang Kaiser what a story but like all aggy stories (see the 12th man) they are based in half truths. yes DeLoss said he wasn’t going to schedule aggy again. i believe he later amended it to end your punishment after Dr Bowtie’s 100 year commitment ended.
Never the less it has turned out to be punishment. aggy hasn’t even so much as sniffed a championship game in the ten years you’ve been in the SEC. yes aggy beat Alabama this year, or did Nick toss the dog a bone?
aggy’s punishment in the SEC didn’t turn out to be much worse than what you got in the Big 12. Aggie’s last championship game was in 1998. that’s a long time ago, and so many promises of “just wait till next year.” I’ll wait.

I think they very publicly admitted it this past year when they fricked their current conference mates to join the SEC.
