What is the attendance like at Mizzou basketball games? I was thinking about making the short drive to Mizzou for the A&M game this weekend but I was wondering how kid friendly it is? Not so much rude fans but how packed it gets. I would have no issue taking them to a basketball game at A&M as not many folks show up for games, just curious how crowded it gets for games at Mizzou. Recently became foster parents and trying to get the kids to experience new things and get more socialized but also didn’t want to overwhelm them with a rowdy environment. Honest question, not trying to troll

They knocked off Alabama last weekend and barely had any fans there

They are the worst team in the SEC, at the worst school in the SEC.

Depending on how many people you bring, you have a chance at doubling their average attendance.

You'll be fine.

At least there won't be any dudes fricking sheep there to scare any kids you may have.

They have some kind of weird improv comedy student group that goes to every game

It's Aggie level bizzare

Graduated from A&M and never saw a sheep while in school, lived in Gainesville, FL for around 10 years and saw quite a few. Seems like a lazy inaccurate take

It won’t be packed. At all. We all want Clownzo gone and most aren’t going back to a game until he is.

Is there any real chance Martin goes this year?

Honestly asking, he seems terrible. Didn't know what the feeling around the fanbase is.

I don’t know. But a family just donated 5 million something the other day to a Mizzou Basketball Endowment fund…

Mizzou is better than this. I think the money people will step up.

Mizzou was always pretty good and you just haven't heard much from them since they joined the conference.

Does he have a high buyout? Is that why the donation might mean something.

6 mil is the buyout.

Mizzou in 2012 was on the way here to the SEC. We won the Big12 Tournament Championship. Mizzou was a 2 seed and lost to Norfolk State in the first round (they couldn’t miss a 3).

Since then it has been bad hires and bad luck. Mizzou was consistently good, to better than good for a long time. So this sucks.

Attendance is very low. You should get a great seat. Check out several of the eating estabilshments while there. Shakespears Pizza is pretty popular, but so is Booches Burgers.

As to the arky dude on here saying we are the worst this and that in the SEC, again, I present to you our overall football head-to-head:

Mizzou - 9
arky - 4

Since joining the SEC:
Mizzou - 5
arky - 2

PLus, like Texas, we have professional sports teams on either side of the state. arky doesn't have shite.

Not looking for great seats, would rather something up high away from folks. These kids have been pretty isolated so far in life but I also want to introduce them to something I love and get them used to being around people. I’d be happy even we only lasted thru a round of hot dogs and popcorn and a half of basketball

It will be fine. If you want seats high up, believe me, you will have them. If you want seats close to the floor, believe me, you will them too. Parking is crap, though. Be ready to walk and, well, it gets bone-arse cold here.

It is good you are taking these kids to a game. Kudos to you.

We live near Leonard Wood, we are prepared for and used to the cold. Will have to watch weather though, we live on the top of a very steep hill so if much snow is expected that could change our plans, at least that is what the wife just told me

Well, to fair, I wouldn't go to a game in nasty weather either.

Absolutely love it here, got a lot of land and can hunt off the back deck, plus all sorts of fishing around me. Younger me avoided this place like the plague while in the Army but love it at this point in my life. Missouri is more Texas than Texas is and I love it
